SOUTHWEST NAIDOC AWARDS

The South West NAIDOC Awards are an annual celebration recognising outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the South West region of Western Australia. Held as part of NAIDOC Week, these awards honour individuals and groups who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and cultural strength across a range of areas including education, sport, community, the arts, environment, and cultural preservation.

Each year, the awards bring our communities together to acknowledge those who make a positive impact—uplifting others, sharing knowledge, and keeping culture strong. The event is a powerful reflection of pride, resilience, and the continued contribution of Aboriginal people to all aspects of life in the region.

The South West NAIDOC Awards are more than a ceremony—they are a community-led tradition that inspires the next generation and strengthens connection to culture and Country.
